UPPERBLUE

Get started with Dashboards

Sign in, open an assigned view and interpret your first result.

Before you begin

You need an Upperblue account and access to at least one published dashboard. A shared account does not automatically grant every dashboard or general API access. The public guides can be read without signing in.

Open your first view

Begin at the public landing page. Your assigned overview is the starting point for the views available to your account.

  1. Sign in using the form on the landing page.
  2. Choose an assigned dashboard from your overview.
  3. Read the period, source and latest update before comparing the summary and table.
  4. Check for a partial, waiting, updating or failed state before relying on the result.

If no view appears

A successful sign-in and a dashboard assignment are separate outcomes. When no dashboards are assigned, follow the access guide. If a saved result is waiting or unavailable, keep that state distinct from a period with no matching observations.

Your first useful task

Use an assigned earthquake view to identify the largest displayed magnitude in its displayed period. Explain which records and source it covers. Continue with the earthquake guide to understand truncation and source times.
